Acro Development 1
Working on cartwheel and handstand fun, acro balances and a floor acro circuit. With body conditioning we will be concentrating on strength (core, upper body and leg power) as well as shaping techniques for acro work.
Every gymnast has their own specific goals and wants to spend more time working on particular skills so this is a chance to spend focused time working on the things you want to. Gymnasts wishing to work on frontsault and backsault skills will need to show lead-up drills and competency.

Come and try our selection of programs; receive recommendation of future suitable programs for your child! This session allows the children to experience a variety of different programs. Information on all our programs available at reception.
Acro Development 2
Concentrating on hip and shoulder flexibility to help with splits, forward and backward walkovers. Back handsprings will be the focus with lots of different drills and equipment used, including sliders, wedges, the back handspring trainer and boulder.
Within this class you will explore the different landings, precision jumping, jumping over boxes, shapes, bar skills and floor skills learnt in these exciting thrill seeking classes.
‘It’s all about the Bounce’
Explore the correct techniques used in trampoline, spending time on fun equipment you can bounce on, incorporating mini trampolines, sprung floor and spring boards into the lessons.
Acro Development 3
Extending on from our cartwheel and handstand fun, we will now look at the techniques for harder skills. Lots of drills and supplementary equipment used.
Working individually or in group situations. This will be a fun workshop involving fun challenges, pit challenges, building a giant slide and also helping to improve self-confidence.
Swing / Balance Challenge
& Circus Fun
Swing will use all our bars, including our parallel bars, pit bar and uneven bars. Challenges will be incorporated as well as fun balances using fit balls. Circus fun will use our poi, diablos, circus sticks, hoops & ribbons.
All of these workshops cater for beginners through to advanced gymnasts.
